Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery (also known as blepharoplasty) corrects problems from excess fatty tissue around the eyes, to provide a refreshed, awake, and more youthful appearance. The procedure can include the upper or lower eyelids, depending on where the problem is located. During eyelid surgery, excess fat and skin are remove or repositioned. If only excess fat is present in the lower lids, it may be removed through an incision inside the lower lids with no external incision or scar during a procedure called transconjunctival blepharoplasty.

Facelift

Facelift surgery is designed to improve the contour of the face and neck, to correct problems like sagging jowls and cheeks, deep folds, and loose tissue in the lower face. You may be a candidate for a facelift if you have experienced a loss of skin elasticity and muscle tone around your face and neck. The operation is done on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. Patient recovery time is typically about 2 weeks. A closely related procedure is the neck lift, which is very similar but focused strictly on cosmetic problems of the neck, chin and jaw area.
